Valarie Sanford

I am a 42 year old mother of two and have been married 13 years. I currently live in Mesa, Arizona but am originally from the mid-west. I have competed in a total of 14 shows in the past 5 years and have no plans to retire any time soon! My best placing so far is taking 7th at the National Level at the USAs in Las Vegas and the Overall in Figure at the regional level. I am sponsored by Muscle Egg and Nutrishop.

I have participated mostly in Miles Productions events, but have also done a few out of state shows. It is so great to have the option to compete with Miles Productions. There goal is to always put the athlete first. After all of the effort that goes into preparing for show day, it certainly makes a difference to feel valued and appreciated!

I love living an active and healthy lifestyle. My goal is to set an example to my two young children of the importance of taking care of our bodies through proper nutrition and exercise. I work for myself as a personal trainer and previous to this career, I trained dolphins and other marine mammals for a living. It was a fantastic career and I am grateful for the experience!

I hope to compete for many years to come and look forward to the continued journey to better health, fitness and wellness!
