Will Armijo
Age: 27
MBA, CPT
I was born and raised in Gallup New Mexico. I moved to Arizona following my junior year of High school. After playing high school baseball at Paradise Valley, I continued on to play at Scottsdale Community College and concluded my baseball career at Grand Canyon University.
From the age of 16 I have been fascinated with nutrition and exercise. Always trying to better my baseball ability through strength, conditioning, and nutrition. I was able to attain a certification of Strength, conditioning, and nutrition from Scottsdale Community College and then completed my undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Grand Canyon. Upon my undergrad completion, I continued my education and completed my MBA.
During this time I began competing in the NPC Mens Physique Division. My first show was an NPC Miles production Natural Western. After college sports I wanted to keep my competitiveness alive. This was the perfect sport considering my obsession with nutrition and training.
I went on to compete 9 more times. After winning my class at the NPC Miles productions AZ Open I was qualified for nationals and competed at Nationals in Miami and again in Chicago. With the introduction of the new Classic Physique division in 2016, I will be transferring over into this category in pursuit of my IFBB pro card and Olympia stage.
The industry and my educational background propelled me towards the creation on my own business, Will- Powered LLC. Will- Powered is an online nutrition and exercise system completely customized by myself for each individual. With Clientele globally, I have successfully been able to help people change eating habits and live a healthier life.
Now being my full time career, I owe it all to this Industry, the NPC, and the highly motivated individuals of the bodybuilding community. Its our duty to stay humble, grounded, and to support one another in helping to motivate and inspire people all over the world.
I want to point out, after getting on stage 10 times so far I will have to give it to Miles and the NPC Miles Productions shows regarding presentation, preparation, and class. I have had the opportunity to compete in 4 different states with 4 different promoters and my experience at the Miles Productions shows will always remain at the top and the most memorable. Competing is both mentally and physically draining and having a staff that truly cares about the athlete and offers this type of experience is something all competitors should experience.
